The Impact You'll Make in This Role

Key Responsibilities

As the NHS Business Partner (Medical Surgical – Medsurg) in London and Southeast England, you will:

  • Build a deep regional market knowledge of the integrated care system (ICS) to inform and shape Solventum’s Medsurg business strategy
  • Develop, establish, and maintain professional relationships with NHS stakeholders at both regional and executive levels
  • Represent MedSurg as a trusted business partner, gaining high visibility among senior decision-makers
  • Manage a portfolio of NHS customer accounts, fostering growth through proactive engagement and ongoing support
  • Lead ICS collaborations, aligning commercial strategies to deliver profitable growth
  • Construct and maintain a Key Opinion Leader (KOL) network to validate and shape MedSurg solutions
  • Design and execute outcome-driven strategies tailored to senior healthcare stakeholders

Your Skills and Expertise

To succeed in this role, Solventum is seeking candidates with:

Essential Qualifications

  • A degree-level qualification (ideally in Medical, Scientific, or Business-related fields)
  • Advanced experience in wound care or MedTech markets (roles such as Business Development Manager, Market Access Specialist, or Senior Commercial Lead)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior healthcare decision-makers, preferably at ICS level
  • Proven knowledge in key account management and relationship-driven commercial strategies
  • Strong commercial acumen, including:
    • Contract negotiations
    • Proposal/business case submissions
  • Comfortability working with innovative medical solutions
  • Data proficiency (analysis, presentation, and insights generation)
  • Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • An established network within NHS Executive leadership
  • A passion for exploring and developing commercial opportunities

Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous)

  • Advanced Sales or Marketing certifications
  • Track record of implementing service improvements that drive product growth

Operational Requirements

  • Valid driving license, as reassignment of a company vehicle may be required
  • Precision in English (written & spoken) for all job-related tasks
  • Preparedness for 50% travel duty (visits to NHS sites and ICS locations)
