Optegra has an exciting new job opportunity for an experienced NHS patient services administrator to join our amazing and dedicated contact centre team. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business and benefit from our fantastic comprehensive benefits package, along with fully funded training and development programs. Please note the role is hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, and 4 weeks of induction/training will be conducted at our Manchester office.

The Role
As part of a team leading the delivery of our NHS Patient services Team, deliver virtual pre-operative consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for treatment along with administrative duties, including booking appointments and taking phone calls. Lead the provision of excellent customer service to patients, providing advice and guidance at all stages of the patient journey.
What You’ll Need
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a healthcare environment or ophthalmic sector
- Commercial awareness with passion for delivering high standards of customer service and clinical care
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for Vision Correction
- Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems
- Highly organised, with clear forward planning and ability to flex according to customer needs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly motivated and able to work autonomously
- Strong IT skills, able to use all Microsoft Office applications and other systems/databases
- Experience of building and maintaining exceptional relationships with colleagues and customers
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviours
