Job Description The role of the NICEIC Qualified Supervisor is to ensure that the company complies with all aspects of NICEIC accreditation and to communicate those requirements to the Management Team and Site Operations Teams. You will ensure all required NICEIC certification is completed and issued in a timely manner to enable Project completion and all final certification to be included within O&M Manuals. Undertake the role of 'Qualifying Supervisor' as defined by the NICEIC and liaise directly with the NICEIC, with responsibility for the monitoring of certification and compliance with all necessary regulations ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates or reports. Be directly involved with verifying all site electrical inspection and testing results in a timely manner to prevent project completion delays. Carry out regular site surveys on compliance and quality. Inspect Electrical installations carried out by the company to ensure full compliance with the current edition of IET Wiring Regulations BS7671 and that of the NICEIC requirements and standards. Compile detailed reports on site surveys, and ensure any actions required are communicated and fully understood by the site team and Contract Manager for the project. Such reports are to be progressive throughout the project to enable any rectification works to be planned and complete prior to project handover. Inspect Electrical Certification issued by K&M engineers and that of other sub-contractors employed by King & Moffatt to ensure full compliance with BA7671 qualification and NICEIC standards. Ensuring that the results of inspection and testing are recorded correctly on the appropriate certificates. Completing certificates on company software on completion of any electrical installations or alterations. Be available for any audit conducted by the NICEIC or annual assessments to ensure our membership remains. Carry out and assist with any testing on site as required to enable and ensure full completion of electrical certification. Qualifications Qualified electrician with valid 2360 Part 1&2 / 2330 Level 2&3, including EAS approved craft qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Apprentice trained or equivalent acceptable qualification. IET Wiring Regulations, 18th Edition, BS 7671: 2018 C&G 2382-18 or later to include latest amendments. Electrical Inspection and Testing C&G 2391or equivalent. Previous NICEIC QS Experience. Excellent communicator/experience of working with staff and contractors, with the ability to prioritise you work activities. Relationship management and interpersonal skills.
