Job Description

As our next Night Auditor, you will:

  • Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Carry out the Night Audit.
  • Prepare and distribute relevant reports to internal departments.
  • Manage and confirm reservation details and accounts for in-house guests, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
  • Support hotel operations and assist other departments in preparing for the next day.
  • Provide food and beverage service during the night shift.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all guests while assisting with hotel operations.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues efficiently.
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including the front entrance, lobby, bar, and staff areas.
  • Follow the hotel's fire safety procedures and assist with emergency situations when needed.
  • Be the face of Ibis, consistently conveying a positive and professional image.
  • Manage daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and complete daily revenue postings.
  • Assist in promoting sales within the department and maximize every sales opportunity.

Qualifications

What Are We Looking For?

  • Ability to use Property Management System software such as OPERA Cloud.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience in a hotel Front Office or Finance team is advantageous.
  • A friendly, guest-focused personality with a passion for hospitality.
  • Experience in hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage night shifts responsibly.
  • Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Availability to work night shifts (10:45PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends.
  • Good level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of hotel and financial security procedures as well as guest confidentiality.

Additional Information

A little more information:

  • To help you navigate your role, and support your success, you will be trained in all front of house related functions and the safety of the property and people.
  • By joining us as a Night Auditor, you will become part of a friendly team of 40 talents.
  • To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests, you will need to be fluent in English.
  • Understanding things from our guest’s perspective is key, so while you are settling into your new role, we will arrange a one-night stay for you to experience this first hand.

Job Type: Flexible
Expected hours: 20-39 hours per week
