The Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel - Night Auditor
The Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel, a 4-star, 170-bedroom establishment in Newcastle City Centre, is seeking a Night Auditor to join their fantastic team.
Are you a Night Owl? We are looking for a dynamic, highly flexible personality who strives to exceed customer expectations as well as having a willingness to learn and develop within the hospitality industry.
Hours of Work
- 32-40 hours per week
- Working four or five shifts over seven days
- Shift start and finish times are typically 22:45-07:15 and include weekends & bank holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, welcoming, and friendly environment
- Manage guest arrivals and departures
- Perform cashiering duties
- Provide guests with information and assistance as required
- Handle reservations
- Handle telephone calls
- Provide luggage assistance
- Reconcile payments, revenue streams, and close the business date
- Complete all other Night Audit procedures
- Assist the Night Manager with security and in emergency situations
- Perform all other duties as directed

- Has a keen eye for detail with the ability to find, trace, and correct anomalies
- Is highly reliable and very flexible with working patterns
- Has a strong willingness to learn and is keen to develop and progress within the hospitality industry
