Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will play a key role in making sure our guests feel safe, looked after, and well cared for throughout the night. You will also support the general running of the hotel, complete night audit tasks, carry out safety checks, and help prepare the operation for the next day.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Welcoming guests warmly during the night and delivering a smooth check-in and check-out experience
  • Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints in a professional and helpful manner
  • Completing night audit procedures accurately
  • Carrying out hotel safety and security checks during the night
  • Supporting guests who may require special attention or assistance
  • Assisting other departments with basic night-time operational needs
  • Preparing reports and handovers for the morning team
  • Ensuring the reception area remains clean, organised, and ready for the next shift
  • Acting confidently and responsibly in emergency situations, following hotel procedures
  • Helping create a positive guest experience from arrival to farewell

You will be trained in all front of house related functions, hotel safety procedures, and the systems needed to support you in the role.

To help you understand the guest journey first-hand, we will also arrange a one-night stay for you so you can experience the hotel from a guest’s perspective.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in making guests feel welcome - even at 3am, when everyone involved is running on airport coffee and pure determination.
