Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team in London, United Kingdom. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth overnight operations and maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction.   • Perform end-of-day accounting procedures, including balancing daily transactions and preparing overnight reports
  • Verify and reconcile guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies
  • Provide exceptional customer service during check-ins, check-outs, and throughout the night shift
  • Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and problem-solving to ensure a positive experience
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for both guests and employees
  • Generate and distribute various financial and operational reports
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any guest-related issues or concerns
  • Monitor and update room inventory and availability
  • Handle credit card transactions, and other forms of payment accurately
  • Perform additional front desk duties as needed during the night shift
  • Open Breakfast buffet for next morning

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a guest-focused approach
  • Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., OPERA Cloud) and Microsoft Excel
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic accounting knowledge and ability to handle financial transactions accurately
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in the absence of daytime management
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and front desk procedures
