About the Role
The Night Auditor plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure, delivering exceptional service with a warm and professional demeanour. You’ll contribute to guest satisfaction by maintaining a secure and efficient environment overnight.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all guests are attended to promptly, efficiently, and professionally
- Update details of regular guests in Guest History
- Carry out all assigned diary events, flags, and special requests
- Promptly check and relay guest mail, messages, and parcels
- Collaborate closely with Housekeeping on room information and handling lost property
- Accurately complete guest registration forms and update the computer system
- Ensure precise account postings and prepare necessary paperwork
- Perform an accurate cashiering balance at shift end
- Complete all tasks as outlined in the Night Auditor checklist
- Perform additional duties within your role as required by management

Requirements & Desired Qualifications
We seek a customer-focused professional with strong organisational and administrative skills to thrive within our Night Reception Team. Ideal candidates will: ✔ Excel in customer service, delivering high-quality, attentive service ✔ Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining proactive initiative ✔ Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues ✔ Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their entire stay ⏬ Prefer prior familiarity with Opera PMS (Property Management System) ✔ Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK ✔ Be flexible, adaptable, and reliable in handling responsibility overnight
Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with the Night Team Leader to:
- Prepare reports
- Monitor operational results
- Uphold auditing controls
