Night Care Assistant
About The Role
As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they receive the quality care and support they deserve. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living, providing emotional support and companionship, and sharing meaningful moments and memories with residents.
Every day will bring new challenges and rewards, making your role diverse and fulfilling. As a Care Assistant, your tasks may include:
- Supporting residents with food and drink
- Following care plans to provide personalised assistance
- Ensuring residents receive dedicated one-to-one time and attention

About You
We’re looking for caring and compassionate individuals who can thrive in a supporting role. To join our team as a Care Assistant, you should have:
- Experience or a genuine interest in caring for older people
- A can-do approach and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Empathy, warmth, and a warm-hearted nature
- High standards of compassion to deliver exceptional care
