Job Title: Night care assistant

Salary: £13,403 to £13,614 per annum

Hours: 20 Hours per Week

Location: Howbury House, Pickersleigh Grove, Malvern

Team: Howbury House

Position Type: Permanent


Howbury House is a 32-bed residential home for people who need care and support and are living with dementia. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. We are looking for enthusiastic, caring people to join our team to enhance the lives of our residents.

About the Role

The successful applicant must have the ability to listen and communicate orally and in writing. The ability to work as part of a team but also be able to work on one's own initiative, be caring, compassionate, and motivated. An understanding of the rights and needs of older people and the ability to treat people with dignity and respect and as individuals.

We are an established team of dedicated staff and are very proud of the work we do. We are looking for caring people to share our commitment to provide the best care for our residents and share our passion and vision for the service we provide.

We have x1 waking night care assistant post at 20 hours per week.

You will work on a three-week rota basis including weekends and bank holiday working which are paid at an enhanced rate. Night care assistants are also paid enhanced rates for unsociable hours.

Howbury House also provides an excellent induction and training package to include the Care Certificate and different levels of apprenticeships. You will receive regular supervision and support.

In return, we expect you to be reliable and committed to the aims of the team.
