Night Care Assistant

Care Assistant – Care Home in Gloucestershire

About the Role

Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can make a real difference? Whether you're an Experienced Care Professional seeking a new challenge or are new to care, **we’re looking for passionate Care Assistants to join our team at Agincare’s Care Home in Gloucestershire.

We are currently recruiting for a new role working at Henlow Court.

Requirements & Availability

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • A Part-time position at 24 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work alternate weekends
  • Availability to work the following shift patterns:
    • 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    • 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
    • 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

A Day in the Life of a Care Assistant

Your role will involve supporting clients with their daily needs, fostering independence, and ensuring a positive quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Companionship – Providing support, conversation, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Personal Care – Assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, skincare, and oral hygiene.
  • Medication – Prompting, assisting with, or administering prescribed medications and creams.
  • Meals & Nutrition – Supporting clients with healthy meals, snacks, and beverages.
  • Domestic Tasks – Carrying out light cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment.
  • Mobility Support – Assisting clients with independence in movement and daily activities.
  • Social Activities – Organising outings, social engagements, and in-home activities.
