Care Assistant – Care Home in Gloucestershire
About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a new role working at Henlow Court.

Requirements & Availability
- A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
- A Part-time position at 24 hours per week
- Flexibility to work alternate weekends
- Availability to work the following shift patterns:
- 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

A Day in the Life of a Care Assistant
Your role will involve supporting clients with their daily needs, fostering independence, and ensuring a positive quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:
- Companionship – Providing support, conversation, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
- Personal Care – Assisting with bathing, showering, dressing, skincare, and oral hygiene.
- Medication – Prompting, assisting with, or administering prescribed medications and creams.
- Meals & Nutrition – Supporting clients with healthy meals, snacks, and beverages.
- Domestic Tasks – Carrying out light cleaning and maintaining a tidy environment.
- Mobility Support – Assisting clients with independence in movement and daily activities.
- Social Activities – Organising outings, social engagements, and in-home activities.
