Night Concierge
Night Concierge at Urbanest
Location: Battersea, Vauxhall, Hoxton
Salary: £32,010 per annum plus benefits.
Hours: 42 hours per week. Night Concierge work 4 days on 4 days off, 12 hour shifts; 8pm - 8am. Weekends bank holidays will be required on a rota basis.
We are looking for a dedicated Night Concierge. This is a dynamic role where you’ll be the first point of contact for our residents and guests, delivering outstanding service and ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities For Concierge
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests, offering exceptional service and support.
- Provide practical, timely solutions to residents’ concerns, including coordinating maintenance issues.
- Assist with parcels, post queries, and loaning out items (e.g., hoovers, fans, ironing boards).
- Help maintain a safe, enjoyable property for all residents and local neighbors.
- Building walks - Perform checks and inspections in communal areas, including plant rooms, lifts, rotate bins in the bin store room if required.
- Assist with checking flats for hygiene and cleanliness as needed, ensuring residents enjoy a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Wear lone-working devices while on duty to ensure your safety.
- Manage property bin stores, ensuring cleanliness and timely collection by contractors.
- Work with the Maintenance and Customer Support teams to ensure smooth operation and resident satisfaction 24/7.
Being Part Of The Team
- Assist in onboarding new team members, answering questions, and sharing knowledge.
- Actively contribute to monthly team meetings, offering feedback and ideas for improvement.
- Learn and adhere to company processes, ensuring the safety and privacy of residents (GDPR training provided).
- Handle emergency situations promptly and communicate effectively with emergency services when needed.
- Complete shift handovers effectively, ensuring smooth communication with the Night Team.
- Participate in ongoing training and development, gaining expertise in IT Resident reporting systems.

Skills And Experience We're Looking For
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive, solution-focused attitude.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team player who works closely with colleagues across teams to deliver top-quality service.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Fire Safety procedures.
- A willingness to wear a lone-working device during shifts and ensure your personal safety.
- Ideally have experience working 12 hour night shifts.
