Night Concierge

Location: 1 Hans Crescent, SW7 | Posting: £30,382 | Employer: Rendall & Rittner

Role Overview

Step into a landmark address in the heart of Knightsbridge. 1 Hans Crescent is a distinguished Edwardian red-brick building of apartments and penthouses directly opposite Harrods, where refined heritage meets contemporary luxury.

As part of a 24-hour concierge team, you’ll be the reassuring overnight presence for an international community of residents, expected to deliver calm, attentive, and highly discreet service.

The building offers secure parking, lift access, and Knightsbridge Underground on its doorstep—an elegant, secure, and effortlessly connected environment where your expertise transforms nights into carefully orchestrated moments of service.

Evening Responsibilities

  • Receive late check-ins after theatre, dinners, and social gatherings
  • Coordinate VIP visitors and deliveries
  • Ensure discretion and order
  • Anticipate and address resident needs

Role Expectations

As the overnight front-of-house expert, working 19:00–07:00 on a 4 on, 4 off rota, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, security, and operation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage access and keys, CCTV, and scheduled patrols to ensure safety and order
  • Coordinate deliveries, parcels, and secure parking requests
  • Organise and escort authorised contractors (ensuring permits and records are up to date)
  • Complete Health & Safety checks, incident reports, and handovers to the daytime team
  • Maintain a pristine reception space and detailed shift logs

What Success Looks Like

Your performance is measured by:

  • Resident appreciation: A consistent reputation for discretion, warmth, and a "can-do" approach
  • Safety and security: The building remains tranquil and fortifications are fully enforced
  • Accurate handover: Accurate logs and clearly coordinated morning briefings
  • Immaculate reception: By 7 AM, everything should be neat, organised, and ready for the day
  • Proactive conflict resolution: Quick, transparent communication in emergencies—without deviations from procedure

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
