Job Title: Night Hotel Receptionist
Location: Ashburn Hotel / South Kensington
Reporting to: Hotel Manager
Work hours: Morning: 8:00pm - 8 am
Job Purpose
To provide a warm, professional, and efficient front desk service, ensuring all guests receive a high standard of hospitality from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Handle reservations, amendments, and cancellations
- Answer phone calls, emails, and guest enquiries promptly
- Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
- Provide information about the hotel and local area
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
- Maintain the reception area to a high standard at all times
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and data protection standards

Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Good knowledge of hotel systems (e.g. Opera, Guestline, etc.) is an advantage
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Basic IT and administrative skills

Working Hours
- Shift-based role (including early, late, weekends, and bank holidays)
- Typical shifts may include:
- Morning: 8:00pm - 8 am
