The Role

Sofina Foods is looking for a detail-oriented and committed Hygiene Operative to join our team on the night shift. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our production environment and equipment meet the highest standards of cleanliness – a vital role in supporting food safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Working behind the scenes, your contribution will help ensure our factory is always audit-ready and production can run smoothly, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Hygiene Operative, you will:

  • Use specialist cleaning equipment and approved chemicals to deep clean production areas
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hygiene protocols
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times
  • Work in line with safety, quality, and workflow guidelines
  • Report any issues or maintenance needs to your Team Leader or Manager promptly
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Carry out cleaning activities in line with daily schedules and hygiene checklists
  • Ensure all work meets company safety, hygiene, and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with your team to meet cleanliness and readiness targets
  • Take pride in maintaining a spotless and well-organized work environment

  • A strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
