About the Role
You’ll be working in a dynamic fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) factory, managing noise and sub-zero working conditions in areas of our business. Your focussed duties will include:
- Maintaining factory cleanliness to highest Company Cleaning Instruction standards
- Thoroughly cleaning all machinery (via chemicals and jet washers) to prepare for production
- Ensuring wipe-downs are comprehensive for zero residue compliance
- Strict adherence to cleaning standards to avoid delays in production start times

Responsibilities
- Working overnight shifts from 8pm–6am, 6pm–6am (student-friendly pattern in some shifts)
- Collaboration with production teams to ensure production quality
- Maintaining consistent performance under factory pressure
Requirements
Ideal candidates possess:
- Attention to detail to meet high cleanliness standards
- Strong communications skills (both verbal & written, with basic numeracy)
- High willingness to learn – on-the-job training provided for all
- Ability to work flexibly, safely and autonomously
- (Light experience in production/cleaning environments is beneficial but optional)
- No poultry/bird ownership due to Avara’s commitment to bird welfare
