Night Life Practitioner
Life Practitioner (Night Duty) – Tigh Fruin, Retford, Nottinghamshire
About the Role
Our Adult Residential Home at Tigh Fruin in Retford, Nottinghamshire, is seeking passionate and dedicated Life Practitioners, specifically for Night Duty shifts.
As a Night Life Practitioner, you’ll provide vital support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. Your role will involve:
- Assisting with daily activities to promote fulfilling and independent living.
- Escorting individuals to community activities, including shopping, meals, appointments, and outings.
- Ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being during nocturnal tasks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing company vehicle transport (UK licence required—full UK licence or 2+ years of UK driving).
- Supporting personal care, mobility, and medication administration as needed.
- Collaborating with your team to ensure meaningful and engaging night-time activities.
- Adhering to safeguarding policies and promoting wellbeing.
Salary & Benefits
Starting rates:
- £12.85 (entry level)
- £13.35 (experienced, Level 2)
- £13.85 (experienced, Level 3)

What We Look For
Ideal Candidate Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong empathy and passion for care.

- Resilience and the confidence to seek support.
- Communication skills (spoken and written).
- Basic computer literacy.
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care preferred; willingness to pursue qualifications equally valued.
