The Role
As Night Manager, you will be the guardian of the property and the face of the business during the night hours. You will oversee the safety of our guests, manage late arrivals and early departures, and ensure the hotel is perfectly prepared for the day ahead. This is a vital role requiring a blend of leadership, administrative precision, and excellent guest relations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Guest Operations: Managing the front desk overnight, handling late check-ins, early check-outs, and processing walk-in reservations.
- Safety & Security: Conducting regular walk-throughs and security checks of the property, acting as the designated Fire Warden, and handling any overnight emergencies calmly and professionally.
- Financial & Admin Reporting: Running the Night Audit, balancing daily revenue, compiling financial reports, and ensuring a smooth handover to the morning team.
- Team Leadership: Supervising and supporting night staff to maintain exceptional standards.
- Problem Solving: Resolving guest queries or complaints efficiently, ensuring every visitor enjoys a peaceful stay.

What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience in a hotel front office or night operations role is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong IT literacy with experience using a variety of systems. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Attributes: A calm under pressure demeanour, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Qualifications: First Aid and Fire Warden certification is an advantage (training can be provided).

Contract & Hours
This is a full-time role working 40 hours and 5 days out of 7.
