Night Manager
Night Manager – Champneys Henlow
Location: Champneys Henlow Contract: Full Time Salary: Up to £29,120 Hours: 38 hours per week, worked over 4 nights

The Role
As Night Manager, you’ll be fully accountable for the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the resort during nighttime hours, leading the overnight Front of House team.
This is a key leadership role where calm authority, attention to detail, and people-management skills are essential to ensures our guests experience exceptional service, safety, and care even after dark.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the overnight Front of House operation
- Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, colleagues, and the property
- Training, developing, and mentoring the overnight team through feedback, appraisals, and performance plans
- Conducting night audits, security checks, and floor walks
- Overseeing arrivals, departures, and guest accounts during night shifts
- Acting as Duty Manager on a rota basis where required
- Managing rotas, absences, and departmental payroll budgets
- Reviewing payroll spend and reporting variances to the General Manager
- Handling guest queries, feedback, and conflict resolution with confidence and professionalism
- Liaising closely with Housekeeping and other departments to maintain seamless service
- Ensuring high presentation standards across all guest-facing areas
- Maintaining full compliance with company policies, financial controls, and health & safety procedures

Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality (preferable, but training provided where needed)
- Confident leadership skills with a calm, professional presence
- Strong operational knowledge, particularly of Front of House and overnight procedures
- High attention to detail, especially in safety, security, and financial controls
- Excellent communication and guest-service skills
- Comfortable working night shifts and taking full responsibility for the property
- Knowledge of hotel systems is an asset (full training provided where required)
