Night Manager – HC-One

About The Role

In your role as a Night Manager at HC-One, kindness is what drives you above all else. This core value permeates every aspect of our care, from Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. At HC-One, our residents are valued as individuals with unique stories—a reminder that everyone deserves empathy and dignity.

As a Night Manager, you will take responsibility for ensuring outstanding resident care in your assigned area while also overseeing the entire operation when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. Whether it’s documenting concerns (e.g., new residents with mobility issues), guiding medication administration, or ensuring regular health checks, your priority is always their well-being and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead care delivery across your designated Night Shift responsibilities with accountability, ensuring safety and quality standards.
  • Administer resident care, including medications, mobility support, and health observations.
  • Foster an inclusive, tendered culture where kindness shapes all resident-co-worker interactions.
  • Escalate concerns immediately—whether safeguarding risks, health changes, or operational issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive recording to reflect resident well-being and facilitate team collaboration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
