About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RGN) at a Barchester care home, you’ll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Creating a safe and supportive environment for residents with diverse physical and mental health needs.
- Making critical clinical decisions using your professional judgment.
- Developing tailored care plans.
- Administering medication safely.
- Delivering excellence across all aspects of your responsibilities.

As an RGN, you’ll have the autonomy to do things the right way and be truly valued and respected for your work.
About You
- Current NMC registration.
- Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices.
- Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including:
- Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoL)
- Mental Capacity Act (MCA)
- Royal Pharmaceutical Society guidelines
- A dedicated, compassionate approach, prioritising person-centred care.
- Commitment to thoughtful, thoughtful nursing.
