About The Role
As a Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the physical, psychological, and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.
We rely on your professional judgement to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs. You’ll develop tailored care plans, administer medicines safely, and uphold excellence in everything you do. As a Registered Nurse (RGN), your autonomy ensures you deliver care the right way, while being valued and respected for your contributions.
Responsibilities
- Developing care plans specific to individual residents
- Ensuring medicine is administered safely and correctly
- Providing compelling patient-centred care
- Making critical clinical decisions with professional judgement
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a supportive environment

About You
To excel in this role, you must:
- Hold current NMC registration
- Have strong knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices
- Experience in creating well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards)/MCA (Mental Capacity Act) and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
- Be dedicated, compassionate, and person-centred in Alzheimer’s and dementia care
