Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off
Hours: 10:30pm – 8:00am (1-hour unpaid break)
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Night Porter to join our team at our busy restaurant, hotel and wedding venue. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of the property overnight and preparing the venue for the day ahead.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and resetting function rooms for weddings, events, conferences and private functions.
- Carrying out general cleaning duties throughout the hotel, restaurant and public areas to maintain exceptional standards.
- Completing overnight health and safety, fire safety and security checks to ensure the premises remain safe, secure and compliant.
- Assisting with guest requests and providing excellent customer service during overnight hours.
- Ensuring all event spaces, public areas and facilities are clean, tidy and ready for the following day.
- Reporting maintenance issues, damages or concerns to the management team.
- Assisting with the security of the premises, including locking and unlocking designated areas as required.
- Supporting the wider team with operational tasks to ensure the venue is fully prepared for weddings, events and hotel guests.

About You
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Friendly and professional with a customer-focused approach.
- Able to undertake physical tasks, including moving furniture and setting up event spaces.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, events or facilities is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of health and safety procedures.
