About the Role
The Dog & Fox is an iconic pub, hotel, and events venue nestled in the heart of Wimbledon Village. Offering a premium draft & craft beers, London spirits, fine wines, and award-winning British seasonal fare, we also boast 25 exquisite bedrooms in our boutique hotel.
Strategically located just a 10-minute walk from Wimbledon Train Station and serviced by key bus routes (No. 93), we remain a lively destination year-round—experiencing high demand during the Wimbledon Tennis Championships in summer and Christmas events in winter.

What We Look For in a Night Porter
Our ideal candidate is a passionate front-of-house professional with:
- A strong drive to deliver exceptional customer service, backed by a friendly and outgoing personality
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently when needed
- Relevant experience in a hospitality environment (hotel, pub, or events)
- Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail

Key Responsibilities
As a Night Porter, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding our guests’ needs and the hotel’s security. Core duties include:
- Handling guest requests, late arrivals, and room check-ins
- Ensuring maintained room standards post-shift
- Setting up for breakfast service and conducting required:
- Health & safety checks
- Nightly audits
- Operating autonomously but within structured guidelines
Skills & Requirements
- Fluent English (essential for guest interaction)
- Microsoft Office proficiency (üstung proven problem-solving skills)
