Night Porter – voco Zeal, Exeter Science Park

Are you a night owl? We're looking for a Night Porter to join our dynamic team — someone who thrives under pressure, maintains professionalism overnight, and ensures the hotel operates seamlessly while the world rests.
The Role
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Being the welcoming face for guests arriving after hours
- Assisting with luggage handling and travel arrangements
- Supporting wider night operations, including:
- Meeting guest requests (e.g., additional room amenities)
- Serving food and drink where required
- Maintaining hotel safety and security
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability as duties evolve throughout shifts
- Preparing rooms and facilities for the next day’s operations
Sustainability is at the heart of our operations. All team members must be or become Carbon Literate, with ongoing training required. You’ll contribute to reducing emissions through responsible actions, innovative ideas, and embedding sustainability into our daily practices—helping shape both our environmental mission and guest experience.

Working Hours
- 7-day operation, year-round (24/7 availability)
