The Role
We’re looking for a Night Porter to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of our guests throughout the night. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two nights are the same.

Responsibilities
- Providing a warm and professional welcome to late-arriving guests
- Handling check-in and check-out procedures during night hours
- Monitoring the premises with regular patrols to ensure safety and security
- Responding to guest enquiries and room service requests promptly
- Assisting with early morning setups for breakfast or events
- Carrying out light cleaning duties to maintain public areas
- Completing night audit procedures and preparing handovers for the morning team
- Responding to emergencies or alarms in line with hotel procedures
- Ensuring all exits, doors, and windows are secure overnight
- Supporting with event set-ups as required
- Possibly assisting at our other site (Mill Farm Sports Village) when needed

Requirements
You’ll be reliable, proactive, and thrive in a role that requires independence and responsibility. You’ll have:
- Experience in reception duties (knowledge of Property Management Systems, PMS is a plus)
- A polite, approachable, and professional manner
- Excellent reliability and timekeeping
- Flexibility and enthusiasm
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
