Night Porter for our Conference & Banqueting C&B Team
Hours
- Enjoy the flexibility of a 0 hour contract to suit your lifestyle - working hours 10.30pm - 7am, including weekends
Salary
- £12.90 per hour plus service charge plus extensive benefits

As a Night Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome, outstanding service and a safe, comfortable stay throughout the night. You'll be a key member of the overnight team, providing support across the hotel and helping to maintain the high standards our guests expect.
Your Night With Team Carden
- Ensure the safety, security, and presentation of conference and banqueting areas throughout the night.
- Assist with the clearing, resetting, and preparation of conference and banqueting rooms to the highest standards.
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation of all conference, banqueting, and public event spaces.
- Assist with the preparation and upkeep of outdoor ceremony and event areas, ensuring they are immaculate and guest-ready (weather permitting).
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments responding to operational requirements and supporting the wider hotel team as needed.

About You
You'll be reliable, hardworking and take pride in delivering high standards, even when working behind the scenes. You enjoy being part of a team, have a positive, can-do attitude and understand that your contribution is key to creating memorable guest experiences.
Ideally, You'll Have
- Previous experience in hospitality, events, facilities or a similar operational role (preferred but not essential).
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- A flexible attitude and willingness to support different departments when required.
- The physical ability to undertake manual handling tasks, including moving furniture and setting up event spaces.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety throughout the resort.
Due to the rural location of Carden Park, applicants should have access to a vehicle or reliable transport methods.
