We are driven by a clear purpose: to build real communities that enhance the lives of our residents every single day. To support this, we are looking for a Night Porter to help ensure our village remains safe, secure, and welcoming throughout the night.

As a Night Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of the village outside of daytime hours. You will be a reassuring presence for residents, respond to overnight requests, and help ensure the environment is clean, safe, and well prepared for the day ahead.

If you are reliable, approachable, and take pride in delivering excellent service, this is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a community-focused organisation where your contribution truly matters.

The Role

  • Acting as the first point of contact during overnight emergencies, responding calmly and effectively
  • Carrying out regular patrols of the village, completing security, fire, and safety checks
  • Providing a welcoming presence for residents, guests, and visitors, offering assistance and information as needed
  • Answering queries about the village, its facilities, and services in a professional manner
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of public areas throughout the night
  • Cleaning and maintaining the gym, pool, steam room, and changing rooms, including testing and recording pool chemical balances
  • Assisting with emergency situations, including first aid incidents and evacuations where required
  • Managing waste collection by moving bins to designated collection points
  • Ensuring the overall safety, security, and wellbeing of the building and its occupants throughout the night

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
