Night Porter – 8 Hours Per Week (2 Days) – Holiday Inn Leicester
Salary: £5,287.36 per annum / £12.71 per hour, 2 days per week (across 8 working hours).

Holiday Inn Leicester is currently seeking a Night Porter to join our welcoming, hardworking team.
About the Role
As a Night Porter, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations throughout the night shift, prioritising guest comfort, security, and hotel readiness for the following day.
Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting guests with luggage and checking in/out arrangements

Answering guest requests for amenities, e.g., extra towels, prompt housekeeping, or special requests

Serving food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner

Monitoring the night area to maintain safety, preventing nuisance or disturbance within the hotel premises

Making sure all systems (security cameras, locks, access points) are secure before handover to the next shift

Collaborating with the team to ensure a seamless hand-over at the beginning of each morning

This is a high-variety role which demands adaptability—being calm under pressure, vigilant and proactive in anticipating guests’ needs before they even ask will help you thrive here.

Full flexibility is required. Shifts may vary depending on demand—including nights, weekends, and bank holidays. While we generally expect higher footfall between 6pm–6am on weekends and earlier evenings, discussions around shift preferences and contracted hours can absolutely happen during interview.
