Supermarket Assistant – Passionate Partners Needed!
About the Role
As a Supermarket Assistant at Waitrose, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our customers’ experience—delivering a Partner-led service and unmatched passion for food that sets us apart. Your dedication to excellence will leave a lasting impression, earning customer loyalty for life.
By law, candidates must be 18 years or older due to working time regulations.
Key Responsibilities
To maintain a seamless, high-performing retail environment, your role will include:
- Stock replenishment: Ensuring shelves stay fully stocked and products are always available for customers.
- Online order fulfilment: Processing customer orders efficiently for home delivery by drivers.
- Waste reduction: Following strict product due diligence to markdown or reduce perishables approaching sell-by dates.
- Team support: Assisting with checkouts, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on-demand customer requests, and more.
- Shopkeeping duties: Maintaining a safe, tidy, and organised working environment.
