Security Officer (Variable Shifts – 4 on 4 off) – Large Venue Location
About The Role
Days of Working: Variable shifts dependent upon business needs – 4 on, 4 off.
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a Security Officer within a leading venue.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-trained, professional security team, ensuring the protection, security, and safety of visitors and premises.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Acting as first-line support to employees and visitors, providing a professional, courteous, and friendly service
- Investigating and reporting incidents such as loss, theft, criminal damage, and emergencies, following protocol
- Managing crowd safety and queue control to ensure smooth operations
- Monitoring and responding to emergency situations as outlined in Incident and Emergency Plans
- Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity while maintaining a visible presence

Requirements & Criteria
To be considered, you must:
- Have the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- Ideally have prior experience in security operations
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
- Have worked in a public-facing, customer service role, preferably handling challenging situations
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
