Night Senior Carer – Lechmore Care Ltd
Location: Royley House, Lea View, Royton, OL2 6AR
Job Title: Night Senior Carer
The Role
Do you feel a passion for caring for others? Looking for a flexible and rewarding career supporting elderly residents or those with dementia in our beautifully renovated care homes?
We’re now taking applications for Night Senior Carers and will be offering a £250 welcome bonus.
As a Night Senior Carer, you will earn £14.30 per hour (salary may vary based on experience).
No sponsorships are currently available.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Support people with their health, social, and emotional well-being, including:
- Personal care (toileting, dressing, bathing)
- Mobility assistance
- Medication management
- Continence support
- Nutritional and hydration monitoring—ensuring independence is promoted
- Ensure residents are well-presented and look after their clothing, hygiene, and personal grooming
- Provide mental and physical stimulation through engaging conversations and hobby assistance
- Collaborate with our team to enhance each resident’s emotional and spiritual well-being while respecting them as unique individuals
- Actively support multi-tasking, prioritise workloads, and stay calm under pressure
- Update and comply with individual care plans, keeping detailed records of care duties
- Effectively communicate between management and team members, sharing good practice and concerns
- Build strong, compassionate relationships with residents and their families, including those with cognitive impairments
- Maintain accurate records, routines, and a clean, safe, and supportive environment
- Commit to continuous professional development whilst understanding residents' rights to dignity and confidentiality

Additional Expectations
- Wearing of vaccinations and health treatments (as per Public Health guidelines) is mandatory.
- Formal existence of the right to live and work in the UK is required.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Completion or possession of an NVQ Level 3/4 in Healthcare or Social Care (or equivalent recognised qualification in health and social care)
- Excellent listening, communication, and relationship management skills
- A kind, patient, and empathetic nature, along with strong numeracy and writing abilities
Desired Qualifications & Attributes
- Experience as a Senior Carer or Team Leader in an adult care setting (either residential or community)
- Strong leadership abilities with proven competence multitasking and communicating effectively

Hours:
- 33 hours per week
- 3 evenings per week (with alternate weekends)
- Shift timing: 8 PM to 8 AM
