Night Shift Chef Manager | Amazon EMA4 | Eurest

Salary

£34,000 per annum

Plus Night Enhancements

  • 67p per hour (weekday nights)
  • £1.05 per hour (weekend nights)

Working Pattern

Night Shifts | 5 over 7 rota (including weekends as required)

About the Role

Eurest, a market-leading food service provider within Compass Group, is looking for an exceptional Night Shift Chef Manager to lead our catering operation at Amazon EMA4.

This is a unique opportunity for a talented hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining culinary expertise, operational leadership, and customer service excellence. As the senior manager on site during nights, you'll take ownership of both kitchen and front-of-house operations, ensuring outstanding food, service, safety, and team performance.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead all night-time catering operations, taking responsibility for both kitchen and front-of-house services.
  • Deliver high-quality food production and provide hands-on culinary support when required.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and a seamless customer experience throughout the night.
  • Manage stock, food costs, labour budgets, and overall operational performance.
  • Drive service standards, client satisfaction, and achievement of KPIs and contract objectives.
  • Maintain full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures.
  • Lead, motivate, train, and develop the night team to create a positive, high-performing culture.
  • Oversee vending operations, ensuring machines are stocked, compliant, and fully operational.
  • Respond effectively to operational challenges and ensure smooth, efficient service delivery at all times.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Head Chef, Chef Manager, or Senior Chef
  • Strong culinary skills with a hands-on approach
  • Experience managing front-of-house operations and customer service
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards
