About The Role
The Hygiene Supervisor is responsible for leading the hygiene team to ensure the factory is clean, safe and ready for production. The role supports high standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety while driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop the hygiene team.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety and health & safety standards.
- Plan and coordinate daily cleaning activities.
- Monitor hygiene standards and drive improvements.
- Support audits, inspections and customer visits.
- Investigate issues and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver training and maintain team competency.
- Ensure records and documentation are completed accurately.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Hygiene management experience within food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of BRC, HACCP and food safety standards.
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals and hygiene systems.
- Strong Health & Safety knowledge.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
- Good leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- IT literate.

Essential Qualifications
- Food Safety Level 3.
- Train the Trainer Qualification.
- Chemical Safety Awareness Certification.
