Night Shift Maintenance Engineer

Night Shift Maintenance Engineer

Mon-Fri | 22:00 - 06:00 (Permanent Nights)

Bradford

I am currently recruiting a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, forward-thinking manufacturing business in Bradford, operating in the print and packaging sector.

The Role

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
  • Diagnose faults and implement effective engineering solutions
  • Maintain and improve high-speed production and packaging equipment
  • Monitor machine performance and proactively address issues
  • Work on a range of electro-mechanical systems including PLCs, controls and pneumatics
  • Accurately record maintenance activity, downtime and parts usage
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards

Equipment includes; Litho & digital presses, high speed printing machinery, cut & crease, gluing and finishing machines.

About You

  • Apprentice trained or time-served engineer
  • Multi-skilled (mechanical & electrical)
  • Experience of maintenance in manufacturing environment (print/packaging desirable)
  • Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work autonomously
