Night Shift Manager
Location: South Yorkshire
Shift: Nights Sunday-Tuesday and every other Saturday
We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced manufacturing operation within a high-risk, food production environment.
This role is accountable for delivering daily operational performance, ensuring output, efficiency, food safety, quality and health & safety standards are consistently achieved in line with customer specifications and legislative requirements.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work cross-functionally with Planning, NPD, Technical, HR, Engineering, Hygiene and Health & Safety to ensure production plans are delivered safely, efficiently and right first time.

About You
You will be a strong operational leader with proven experience managing food manufacturing teams.
Essential:
- Experience leading teams within a food production environment
- Demonstrable delivery of KPI performance in manufacturing
- Strong leadership and man-management capability
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety legislation
- HACCP Certification
- Food Safety
- Level 3 IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent)
- Experience conducting investigations and risk assessments

Desirable:
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in Food Technology or related field
- CI and efficiency improvement experience
- Formal management qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
