Your Role

We’re seeking an experienced Night Shift Manager to join our team in Redditch. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong leader who excels in a fast-paced environment, with responsibility for team leadership, operational excellence, and cultural growth.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Operations, your core duties include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations.
  • Leading, inspiring, and managing teams to deliver high performance, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Fostering a proactive health & safety culture across the site.
  • Ensuring service levels meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Driving continuous improvement through operational enhancements.
  • Proactively managing risks and resolving operational challenges.
  • Maintaining accurate shift records and ensuring full compliance with processes.
  • Promoting best practices in stock handling to reduce loss, damage, and inefficiencies.
  • Conducting regular GEMBA walks and 5S audits to sustain operational excellence.

This is a Monday to Friday role: 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM.


Requirements

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic leader with:

  • Proven experience in team management, preferably within a 3PL environment.
  • A results-driven mindset to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in team motivation, guidance, and development to help colleagues reach their potential.
  • The ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement using excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems—essential.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for decision-making and reporting.
