Night Shift Team Leader
Team Leader – Warehouse Management (Sunderland)
About the Role
Kinaxia Sunderland are seeking a Team Leader to support the Warehouse Management team across all aspects, including:
- Warehouse facility management
- Customer satisfaction
- Cost control & profit maximisation
- Health & safety & compliance
Location & Hours: Sunderland – Nights (Sunday to Thursday, 22:00–06:00)
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Prioritise workload daily, ensuring deadlines and targets meet specified standards
- Manage staffing levels effectively to maintain smooth operations
- Organise team activities to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Oversee paperwork and resolve identified discrepancies

Team & Compliance Management
- Ensure warehouse staff follow agreed procedures, complete required training, and adhere to health and safety standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Professionally manage staff while maintaining high team performance
Administration & Collaboration
- Communicate accurately and timely with relevant departments
- Regularly review and proactively improve warehouse processes
- Maintain a clean, tidy workspace complying with customer requirements
- Process and document good movement/storage appropriately

Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of warehouse health & safety procedures
- Proficiency in stock management software
- Ability to manage and develop teams
- FLT Licence (must-have)
