Night Shift Qualified Traffic Management Operative – High-Speed

Location: Tring, HP23 4QR


Hours and Commitment General hours of work total 48 hours per week on a permanent night shift basis, with optional overtime available. Competitive pay based on location and experience, plus benefits and overtime opportunities.

Role Details: High-Speed Traffic Management Operative

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management (cones, signs, barriers, sandbags, etc.).
  • Conduct traffic counts, client/subcontractor communications, timings, and near-miss reports.
  • Assist with trainee development.

Key Requirements

✅ Experience: Traffic management is desirable but not essential. ✅ Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving ban must be expired for at least 5 years. ✅ Testing: Must pass drug and alcohol screening (contingent on passing). ✅ Attitude: Positive, pro-active, and solution-focused. ✅ Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and precise attention to detail. ✅ Qualification: Minimum NVQ Level 2 equivalent (or equivalent experience).
