Night Social Care Worker (24/7 Shift Rota)

Hours: 24 or 48-hour shifts, weekends on rota basis

Salary: £12.80 per hour


Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care & Support:

    • Assist residents with bathing, toileting, dressing, and feeding
    • Administer medication safely and accurately
  • Resident Engagement & Activities:

    • Encourage participation in daily activities, hobbies, or outings
    • Follow care plans and uphold Company policies and procedures
  • Duty of Care:

    • Build trusting, honest, and considerate relationships with residents
    • Maintain accurate daily records
  • Training & Compliance:

    • Complete mandatory training and attend as required

Personal Attributes

Ravenna Lodge Opened in 2018, this specialist residential home supports 11 residents with mental health conditions and complex needs. The lodge combines relaxed community living with personalised support, including

  • A tailored activity schedule focused on individual preferences
  • Support from the Positive Behaviour Support Team
  • Life skills development towards shared independent living goals

Location: North-east of Andover, with easy access to Newbury (20 miles) and Winchester (20 miles).

All staff have access to the service’s own transport for outings and visits.
