Role Overview

A permanent, part-time position (40 hrs/week, nights) solving 14.90 per hour, requiring chef experience.

**Working Hours:

  • 7:30 PM to 4:00 AM
  • 5 nights per week

About the Role

The Night Supervisor / Chef will oversee lives, train, and mentor staff while maintaining exemplary quality in food service and customer satisfaction. You’ll coordinate event operations, handle logistics, and contribute directly to creativity, hospitality excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Supervision & Training:

    • Recruit, train, and supervise catering staff, servers, and support personnel.
    • Set clear expectations and provide ongoing constructive feedback for high performance.
  • Quality Control & Compliance:

    • Regularly monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards to ensure they exceed customer expectations.
    • Address and resolve issues promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Logistics & Event Management:

    • Coordinate the delivery, setup, and breakdown of catering equipment and inventory.
    • Oversee event flow—food service, beverage, and guest interactions.
    • Manage supplies, ordering, and inventory levels to reduce waste and maintain stock.
  • Customer Engagement:

    • Build positive, long-lasting relationships with clients and guests.
    • Handle customer complaints, special requests, and dietary requirements effectively and courteously.
    • Encourage feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or catering preferred.
  • Passion: A contagious enthusiasm for food and exceptional customer service.
  • Leadership: Satisfaction in supervising, training, and mentoring a team.
  • Assessment Skills: Strong ability to assess and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Organization & Attention to Detail: Excellent planning and precision for smooth operations.
  • Communication: Clear, concise verbal and written communication.
  • Flexibility: Problem-solving mindset to adapt swiftly to challenges and opportunities.
