Affordable Veterinary Care in Teesside

We're proud to bring affordable veterinary care to the Teesside area, our Out-of-Hours (OOH) service to ensure pets receive the care they need—whenever they need it.

We’re now building a dedicated team of Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) Vets to help us deliver exceptional service. Working alongside a qualified registered veterinary nurse, you will handle a diverse range of surgical and medical ECC cases while overseeing our inpatient service. We operate a 24-hour service from four other hospitals, so working nights at Animal Trust ensures you are never alone, providing a collaborative environment where vets can always consult with one another regarding cases.

Our new hospital features:

  • 9 spacious consulting rooms
  • 3 fully equipped operating theatres
  • A diagnostic suite
  • Digital X-ray
  • A dedicated dental suite
  • An isolation unit

We also provide separate cat and dog wards for low-stress patient care, along with a central prep area to support efficient clinical workflow. Designed to deliver first opinion, referral, and out-of-hours care, our facility brings high-quality veterinary services to pets in the surrounding community.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Animal Trust

Animal Trust stands out from other veterinary services. Firstly, we are a unique non-profit, Community Interest Company. Our primary focus isn't solely on maximising profits; instead, we are dedicated to delivering on our mission and ensuring enough profit to sustain our business in the long term.

Our vision is clear: No pet should go untreated or face euthanasia when there is a viable treatment option. We firmly believe that pet ownership should be accessible to all, acknowledging that individuals earning the Real Living Wage may encounter challenges in affording veterinary care when their pet falls ill. In response, we aim to assist. Our free consultations and transparent pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need.

What We’re After:

  • You really love what you do and want to make a big difference.
  • You feel as strongly as we do about our social mission.
  • You can empathise with the owner and the patient.
  • You enjoy the buzz and liveliness of a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re excited by the opportunity to get stuck into a varied caseload.
  • You’re keen to grow your technical capability and be part of a friendly and multi-talented team.
