Female Night Care Assistant – Alcedo Care Bury Branch
Job Location & Hours
Join Alcedo Care Bury Branch as a Female Night Care Assistant, covering areas in Bury for shifts from 8pm to 10am.
Competitive Pay & Benefits
- Hourly rate: £13.90 – £14.40
- Plus pension & holiday pay (rolled-up pay rate: £16.05 – £17.20)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide night care assistance, including:
- Personal care (continence support, hygiene, dressing)
- Medication assistance
- Meal preparation and household tasks
- Promoting independence while ensuring dignity and safety
- Transport support for female clients
- Safeguarding responsibilities (obligation to report concerns)
Key Requirements
✔ Must be female (due to genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010) ✔ Hold a full UK driving licence ✔ Be medically fit to drive (with company policy compliance) ✔ Aged 18+ ✔ Pass an Enhanced DBS check and provide references
