Salary: £50,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off | Nights | 8:00pm – 8:00am
Nights Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) – Holborn, London
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Nights Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) to join a well-established engineering team at a prestigious commercial site in Holborn, London.

The Role
As a Nights Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical and electrical building services, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to reactive maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair faults across a range of building services equipment.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests.
- Complete maintenance records and reports accurately using the company's CAFM system.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety regulations.
- Liaise with colleagues and subcontractors where required.
- Support continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve plant performance.
Requirements
- Recognised Electrical or Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent).
- Previous experience working within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
- Multi-skilled knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently on night shifts.
