The InPost Newstrade division specialises in final-mile delivery for newspaper publishers and magazine distributors, covering 75% of the UK and Ireland with a 45% market share. Operating from 36 locations, it delivers almost 1bn newspapers, magazines, and collectibles to around 21,000 customers. The division includes core final-mile operations, magazine primary distribution, corporate distribution, outsourced retail consultancy, and airside media placement.

About the role:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Nights Warehouse Operative to support the handling and distribution of magazines. This role involves checking incoming deliveries, accurately picking stock for customer orders, and replenishing shelves within the stockroom.
You will also assist with regular stock counts and full audits, ensuring accuracy and organisation across picking and storage areas. Good attention to detail and basic computer skills are essential for day to day tasks.

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, so you should be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and as part of a team.
📍 Location: Unit C Larkfield Industrial Estate, New Hythe Lane, Aylesford, ME20 6SW
📅 Shift Pattern: Wednesday - Saturday
🕒 Hours: 22:00pm - 06:00am
💰 Salary: £22,496.23 per annum
What you’ll be doing:
- Daily inspection and handling of magazines and collectable stock to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Picking and preparing stock to fulfil customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Replenishing and organising stock within shelving and storage areas to maintain an orderly warehouse
- Counting and verifying multiple magazine titles and collectables for stock control and audit purposes
- Using basic computer systems for daily operational tasks, record keeping, and stock management
- Safe manual handling of stock in line with health and safety procedures
- Conducting regular and full stock audits across the stockroom and picking areas to ensure inventory accuracy

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive working environment
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to take on different tasks as business needs change
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- A reliable and hardworking attitude, with good timekeeping and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to carry out physical duties, including lifting, moving, loading, and unloading safely
