Role Overview

As a dispatch operative you will be a highly organised and detail-oriented person to work in our dispatch team. You will be responsible for the quality and timely and efficient dispatch of the printed products to our customers.

This job will be 4 days a week Monday to Thursday 10pm to 8am with a starting wage of £25,000.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the finished product, ensuring high-quality production standards are maintained
  • Coordinate the matching and packing of printed products, considering packaging requirements and safety
  • Communicate effectively with other production teams to ensure jobs are correct and on time
  • Address any issues related to printing quality, production delays, or packing errors
  • Complete day-to-day dispatch tasks

Requirements

  • Experience in packing operations, preferably in a printing dispatch setting
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with production teams
  • Familiarity with packing techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • Adaptability to changing production demands throughout the working day
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime as needed
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift 25kg
