Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for Nightshift Warehouse Operatives to join our Newton Abbott team, supporting key retail warehouse operations in a fast-paced, modern environment. This is a hands-on role where you will play an important part in keeping stock moving accurately, safely and efficiently while being part of a reliable and supportive team.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working Friday to Tuesday Nights between 21:00 and 07:00
The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures of around 3 degrees.
Salary:
- Between £12.71 - £19.86 per hour depending on shift
- Opportunity to boost earning potential with Premium overtime rates

- To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
- To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
- Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
- To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
- To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
- To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
- Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company’s Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
- Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller
Qualifications
What we're looking for:
- Recent warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment is an advantage
- Confident working to clear targets and KPI’s and delivering strong performance
- Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment
- Strong verbal communication and numerical accuracy
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to doing the job well

Compensation: GBP 12.71 - GBP 19.86 - hourly
