Job Opportunity: Handler – GBJ FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited
Position Summary
We are looking for a Handler to join our operations team at Bredbury, ensuring customers’ packages arrive safely and on time. Our success is built on differences—we actively recruit and retain a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities we serve.
Job Title: Handler Working Hours: 35 per week Shift Pattern: 00:00 – 07:30 (Tuesday to Saturday), plus 30-minute unpaid break Salary: £13.29 per hour, with premium pay (£1.73/hr) for hours worked between 22:00–06:00
Location: Unit 5, Cromwell Road Posting Start Date: 3 July 2026 Posting Close Date: 5 July 2026
What Are You Going to Be Doing?
- Unloading trailers to ensure customers receive their goods in good condition and on time
- Sorting and moving packaging and freight using scanning technology
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- A strong team player, with the ability to work independently when needed
- Willingness to complete training as required
- Good communication skills
