As No.1 Sub Assembly Technician (Hydraulics), you will play a key role in delivering the hydraulic sub-assemblies and related equipment that support build, test, and race operations. The role sits at the heart of a fast-paced technical environment where quality, reliability, and attention to detail are essential, and where close collaboration across the wider operation helps ensure components are delivered to the highest possible standard.
- Lead the assembly, service, and maintenance of hydraulic sub-assemblies to exacting quality and performance standards
- Lead the Hydraulics workshop organization to promote efficiency and cleanliness. Drive safe working practices at all times
- Ensure comprehensive and accurate build records are kept, confirming full traceability and compliance with technical documentation
- Interpret technical drawings and ensure detailed build procedures are accurately followed in the workshop
- Diagnose faults and support continuous improvement in component reliability
- Maintain workshop tooling, rigs, and equipment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the timely delivery of components for Build and Race Team operations

Requirements
What do we need from you?
- Strong experience assembling and servicing Formula 1® hydraulic systems and components
- Ability to lead a small high performing technical team
- Strong fault-finding experience diagnosing issues in hydraulic systems and components
- Experience maintaining accurate build records and full component traceability documentation
- Ability to read complex engineering drawings and follow precise build instructions
- Experience working to workshop safety and quality standards, with a strong focus on precision and consistency
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement in workshop or component reliability processes
