Noise Logging Technician

Noise Logging Technician – Full Training & Support Available

Requirements

  • A full clean UK manual driving licence

We are seeking Noise Logging Technicians to cover local areas, assisting in leak detection activities. Full training will be provided.

Working Details

  • Hours: Working days – 40 hours per week
  • Location: Local area

The Role

You will:

  • Deploy and retrieve loggers (small metal listening devices) within DMAs (district metered areas) for water companies.
  • Install loggers on clients’ infrastructure, typically on:
    • Fire hydrants
    • Valves (~80-100 loggers per day)
  • Retrieve loggers 24 hours later and download collected data, capturing noise between 2:00 AM – 4:00 AM (measured in Decibels).
  • Perform manual tasks including lifting, stretching, and bending.
  • Experience driving long hours is advantageous.
