Noise Logging Technician
Noise Logging Technician – Full Training & Support Available

Requirements
- A full clean UK manual driving licence
We are seeking Noise Logging Technicians to cover local areas, assisting in leak detection activities. Full training will be provided.
Working Details
- Hours: Working days – 40 hours per week
- Location: Local area
The Role
You will:
- Deploy and retrieve loggers (small metal listening devices) within DMAs (district metered areas) for water companies.
- Install loggers on clients’ infrastructure, typically on:
- Fire hydrants
- Valves (~80-100 loggers per day)
- Retrieve loggers 24 hours later and download collected data, capturing noise between 2:00 AM – 4:00 AM (measured in Decibels).
- Perform manual tasks including lifting, stretching, and bending.
- Experience driving long hours is advantageous.

key Responsibilities
- Daily deployment and retrieval of network surpassing 80–100 loggers.
- Ensuring data accuracy linked to noise detection results.
- Adhering to health & safety standards during fieldwork.
Successful Applicant Must Have
✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills ✅ A valid full UK manual driving licence
